The
One
Step Rod Cutter Windrower is the flagship of our
company. The
One Step
System revolutionized the conventional way of
harvesting beans by way of a rodweeder type of cutting
system joined together with a windrower, all in one
machine. Unlike the traditional method of harvesting
beans with one trip through the field with a knife
cutting system followed up with another pass through the
field with a windrower to put beans into windrows for
the harvester, the
One Step is
a one time, one pass only
through the field to do the same thing saving you both
time and money.
In the United States all
major
bean growing areas have recognized the advantages of rodding
and windrowing beans with the
One
Step System, instead of knifing and then windrowing
in two separate steps. With this in mind we were able to
get a solid foothold on our competition.
For example, the state of Michigan
annually grows on the average 137,795 hectares of dry
beans. In 1989 we had 1
One
Step in that state. By 1996, we had over 700 units,
that is 1
One
Step for every 196 hectares. As a result of this
great success the foreign market quickly followed.
Some of the foreign countries we export
to are South Africa, Greece, Hungary, Turkey, Brazil,
Chile, Argentina, Australia, Dominican Republic, Puerto
Rico, and Mexico. In the US we have 60 dealers for
service and support of our product line along with
dealers in foreign countries such as
South Africa,
Brazil, and
Mexico. In
several of
the foreign countries we market to, we are taking the
place of hand picking labor by introducing our new
method of the
One Step
Bean Equipment.
